Somatic healing
A homecoming.
The mind tries to forget, but the body remembers. Somatic sessions listen to your body, gently, and help it release what it has been holding.
How it works
From survival mode back to safety.
When life asks too much for too long, the body can stay on alert even when we are safe. Somatic work helps it remember how to rest.
Through conscious movement, breath, and body awareness, sessions support your nervous system to leave survival mode and return to a sense of safety, balance, and peace. It is a gentle process of learning to trust your own body again, always at your own pace.
You stay in charge the whole time. Nothing is forced, and you can pause or stop whenever you need.
What a session includes
Three simple tools, used with care.
Small, slow movements that let your body lead and release what it has been holding.
Breathing practices that calm the nervous system and bring you back to the present moment.
Noticing sensations with curiosity and without judgement, so your body can feel safe enough to soften.
Who it is for
For anyone who feels it is time to slow down.
Perhaps you feel tense or tired most of the time, carry stress in your body, or simply want to feel more at home in yourself. You don't need any experience with yoga or meditation. You only need to arrive as you are.
Somatic sessions are informed by trauma-sensitive practice and psychology. They complement, and do not replace, medical or psychological care.
